R.O.A.R.

To be a jaguar is to embrace R.O.A.R.

Students at Segerstrom are resilient students that take ownership of their learning. Their achievement is directly linked to the hard work they put in. Not only do Segerstrom students put great efforts into their academics, but also show respect for teamwork, community, and family by participating in athletics, activities, and clubs. They showcase attributes of ROAR daily, creating a community at our school where students feel welcome, invited, and prepared to take on the world.

ROAR Cards

As part of our ongoing initiatives to support a positive culture on campus, we have ROAR cards as rewards for students meeting our Student Learning Outcomes. Teachers and staff distribute ROAR cards if they see a student or class displaying traits of Resilience, Ownership, Achievement, or Respect.

ROAR Store

The ROAR Store is where students can trade in their ROAR cards for prizes each Friday during both lunches. The store is located outside the Student Services office at the windows facing the plaza. Items range from week to week, but students can usually expect Segerstrom branded items, collectables (Funko Pops, Disney items), books, snacks, and items donated by local businesses. Additionally, all ROAR cards spent are also put into a monthly drawing. All items in the ROAR store are sourced or donated by staff. Thank you to all staff for continually supporting our students and the ROAR store.
