2026-27 School of Choice Transfer Information
While most students attend their neighborhood school based on residence, SAUSD provides opportunities for families to apply to their school of choice. The window to apply for a School of Choice Transfer was open until January 23rd at 4 PM.

SAUSD School of Choice Information
Families who live within SAUSD boundaries may apply for a transfer from one of SAUSD's schools to another (intra-district transfer).
Families who live outside SAUSD boundaries may apply for a transfer into our district (inter-district transfer).
All school enrollment to SAUSD schools is handled by District Support Services.
