
World Languages
The World Language Department currently offers ASL and Spanish courses. The courses focus on developing communication skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the target language. Cultural concepts are a significant component of the curriculum. Students who earn a passing score on an AP Exam their sophomore or junior year or complete four years of the same world language with a GPA average of 3.0 or higher in their ASL or Spanish classes will have fulfilled the requirement for World Languages for the State Seal of Biliteracy.
