The Math Department at Segerstrom High School is committed to building confident, capable problem-solvers through a comprehensive program. We offer a strong College Prep pathway—Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and College Algebra—that emphasizes conceptual understanding, real-world application, and preparation for college and career success. For students seeking additional rigor, our Honors/Advanced Placement pathway includes Algebra 1H, Geometry H, Algebra 2H, AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC, providing motivated learners the opportunity to engage with advanced mathematical ideas and potentially earn college credit. Our success rate on AP exams is consistently at the top of all schools in SAUSD.  Across all levels, our dedicated teachers foster critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance, ensuring every student is supported and challenged appropriately.
